President to Be Nominated in Early April

The Deputy Chairman of the State Administration and Peace and Stability Commission, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services, and Deputy Chief of Army Major General Soe Win stated that the president will be nominated in early April.

In the election organized by the military council, there were over 13.14 million eligible voters nationwide, and the election was successful due to enthusiastic public participation, Military Leader Min Aung Hlaing said yesterday, 25 February, in Nay Pyi Taw while meeting with Thai Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha.

The first regular sessions of the People’s Assembly, National Assembly, and state and regional parliaments will be held for the third time, and government changes will take place, Min Aung Hlaing told the Thai Air Force Chief.

Furthermore, Min Aung Hlaing added that regardless of any changes in the state government, the military will remain unchanged and will continue to act to ensure the stability of the multi party democratic system desired by the people.
