Shwegu KPDF Issues Public Warning Notice to Civilians

Due to ongoing clashes between the two sides in Shwegu Township, Kachin State, the Shwegu KPDF has released a set of warning notices addressed to civilians.

Regarding the current military situation in the Shwegu area, civilians are advised to avoid traveling or staying near SAC military columns, checkpoints, and security outposts. This warning was issued by the Shwegu KPDF on May 1.

In addition, the public is instructed not to transport military troops, weapons, ammunition, or supplies. It is reported that the military is sending reinforcements, weapons, and rations from Shwegu toward the Bhamaw front.

Furthermore, activities involving loud machinery are to be suspended from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM. The statement also warns that if these instructions are not followed, the authorities will not take responsibility for any consequences that may arise.
