According to the KIA News and Information Department, five battles took place within a week on the battlefronts of Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant in Kachin State.

From March 15 to March 21, the military commission troops reportedly carried out daily attacks using aircraft, drones, and heavy weapons on the Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant battlefronts.

Additionally, over the week, the military commission troops conducted more than 18 aerial bombings, 18 drone strikes, and a total of 293 heavy weapon attacks. Most of the aerial bombings and heavy weapon attacks occurred on the Bhamaw battlefront.

In the Bhamaw battlefront, ongoing offensives by the military commission troops continue, resulting in active clashes with KIA allied forces, and the situation remains tense.

At Waimaw, the military commission troops stationed at the Hk.L.Y. 58 camp and Man Pya Hill camp have also carried out heavy weapon attacks against areas occupied by KIA allied forces and conducted offensive operations, leading to frequent battles. The KIA Brigade 5 and Battalion 3 continue to reinforce their forces in the Waimaw battlefront.

During the previous second week of March, five battles also occurred within a week across the Bhamaw, Waimaw, Hpakant battlefronts, and seven KIA operational areas, totaling 53 clashes within the week.
