Military Reinforcements Deployed by SAC Forces in Waimaw Frontline

Military Council (SAC) forces are reinforcing their troops on the Waimaw frontline, within the territory of KIA Brigade (5), Battalion (3), according to frontline sources.

Since around 2:00 PM on March 20, SAC forces have been deploying reinforcements along the road between Mai Na-Man Pya Hill and Nawng Hkying village, using four military trucks and additional troops advancing on foot.

Clashes between the Military Council forces and joint KIA allied forces have been ongoing for a prolonged period on the Waimaw frontline. As the SAC continues to reinforce its troops in large numbers, local residents are increasingly concerned that fighting may intensify again.

At present, clashes between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and SAC forces are continuing, with reports indicating that the fighting is moving closer to Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 58 of the Military Council.
