Nighttime Festivities Cause Disturbance to Local Community in Myitkyina

Residents report that in Myitkyina town, Tatkon ward, on the western side of the transport station, religious-themed nighttime festivities and gambling circles are being held.

The events have been taking place since 22 February and continue to this day, with both festive gatherings and gambling circles reportedly operating simultaneously.

These nighttime festivities and gambling activities have caused noise and disruption to the surrounding area, disturbing sleep until late at night and interfering with students’ ability to study.

Loud music, noises from gambling circles, and other disturbances make it difficult for students to focus on their lessons.
