10 Clashes Occur in Kachin State Within One Week

In Kachin State, a total of 10 clashes occurred within one week along the battlefronts of Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant, according to a statement released by the KIA Information and Public Relations Department.

During the week, the military council forces reportedly carried out daily attacks using aircraft, drones, and heavy weapons along the Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant frontlines.

In addition, within the same week, the military council forces conducted more than 11 airstrikes, 35 drone bombings, and over 218 heavy artillery attacks. Among these, both airstrikes and artillery attacks were most concentrated on the Bhamaw front.

On the Bhamaw front, as the military council continues its offensive operations, one defensive clash occurred in Baduza Quarter of Bhamo, and nine clashes took place near Mashi Kahtawng in Brigade 9 area between KIA allied forces and the military, indicating that tensions remain high.

In the previous week as well, a total of 9 clashes were reported across the Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant frontlines.
