24 Clashes Occurred in Kachin State Within a Week; Fighting Continues

A total of 24 clashes occurred in Kachin State over the past week, and daily fighting continues in Bhamaw, Waimaw, and Hpakant areas, according to sources.
From November 17 to 23, the KIA News Department reported that there were approximately 398 instances of airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling in various locations around Bhamaw.
In addition, it was reported that the military has been carrying out daily drone bombing attacks in Lamyang Village, Waimaw, where its troops are stationed.
Military council troops have been launching offensives into areas under the control of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA), and they have continued conducting airstrikes even in areas where no clashes have occurred.
From November 10 to 16 as well, it was reported that 57 clashes occurred within the one week period in Kachin State.
