60 People Killed Nationwide Within 14 Days

Across Myanmar, from October 1 to 14, a total of 60 people 22 women and 38 men were killed due to actions by the military council, according to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP).


Among the deceased were 20 children under the age of 18. The report states that airstrikes accounted for the majority of the deaths, with 49 people killed in such attacks.


In Kachin State, according to information obtained by Pajau Media, one person was killed and eight others were injured during the month of October.


In Kachin State’s Chiphwe Township, Langse village was bombed by a Y-12 aircraft at around 4:20 p.m. on October 10, resulting in the death of U Maran Zaw La (aged 40) and injuries to U Maw Maw (aged 46), U Htoi Nan Li Aung (aged 28), and U Lagrawng Dau San (aged 33).
