A Civilian Killed Again Due to Airstrike Bombing

It is reported that a civilian was killed due to an airstrike bombing by the military council around 10:30 a.m. on September 18 yesterday in Kasung village, which is in the area of KIA Battalion (11).

The military council used one jet fighter aircraft to bomb Kasung village twice, resulting in the death of a woman and damage to residential houses.The woman who died from gunshot wounds was a 20 year old named Roi Ja from Ja Jai Ward, Namati village, and she died on the way to Myitkyina Hospital because of severe injuries.

Similarly, in the Hpakant area, four civilians were killed on September 17 in a single day, and at least six civilians sustained serious injuries.The military continues to conduct airstrike bombings, including with large-caliber weapons and aircraft, in areas where no direct clashes occur, causing widespread civilian casualties and extensive damage to homes.
