After the arrival of military vessels, Bhamaw battle intensifies

It has been learned that, following the arrival of junta military vessels in the Bhamaw area, clashes between the two sides have escalated further.

Since the arrival of these military vessels, which carried soldiers and weapon supplies, fighting between the joint forces of the KIA and junta troops has intensified and continues as of August 6.

These junta vessels, which departed from the Mandalay Gawwon dock, arrived in Bhamaw on August 1.

After the arrival of the military vessels, the junta started using more drones in Bhamaw, which contributed to the increased intensity of the fighting between the two sides.

The military vessels carrying rice to Bhamaw were also able to resupply arms and manpower along the river route at Tigyaing, Katha, and Shwegu, and reportedly delivered food supplies for Bhamaw prison as well, according to frontline sources.

 The junta is fiercely defending its hold on Bhamaw, while KIA troops continue to launch attacks.
