The military council has been conducting aerial bombings with Y-12 aircraft even in areas where no clashes have occurred. At around 11 a.m. on November 12, five air dropped bombs were fired near Nsai Yang Village, close to Sumpi Yang Village in the Putao region, according to local sources.

“Yesterday, in Nsai Yang Village, a Y-12 aircraft dropped bombs up to five times. The places where the bombs were dropped are not areas of fighting. People are now worried about air attacks,” said a resident of Sumpi Yang area.

Although there was no ground troop movement or fighting in Nsai Yang Village, the military council carried out airstrikes, which locals said were deliberate attacks targeting civilians.

Nsai Yang Village is a small village with around ten households. During the airstrike, villagers fled temporarily for safety, but they have now returned to their homes.

Currently, ground troop movements are taking place near Tanjar Village in the Putao region. Since October, the military council and joint forces have been increasing their ground offensives and military operations in the area.
