Airstrikes Damage Churches and Several Homes

It has been reported that several churches and houses were damaged due to airstrikes carried out by the junta’s Y-12 aircraft around 11:30 a.m. on October 21 in Sawlaw and Hkawng Lang Hpu townships.
The locations bombed by the junta’s aircraft yesterday included the villages of Lang Se, Rap Ma, Dangde, Nabe, Shalang Dam, Jahtu Zin, and Mahku Sa. According to sources, the bombings occurred in areas where churches are located, even though no clashes were taking place.
In Lang Se area, a shop was destroyed by fire when a bomb exploded near a bridge in the village. Similarly, in Rap Ma village, four bombs were dropped and exploded.
Likewise, around 12:30 p.m., junta aircraft also dropped bombs four times near Waimaw-Lamyang village and twice in Shwe Nyaung Pin, injuring three civilians and damaging four shops.
The junta again carried out an airstrike this morning, October 22, using a Y-12 aircraft over the Waimaw-Lamyang area.
