Airstrikes Intensify as Junta Continues Bombardment on Bhamaw and Surrounding Areas

It is reported that the Myanmar military has been carrying out continuous airstrikes and bombardments on Bhamaw town controlled by resistance forces and its surrounding areas, located between Kachin State and Sagaing Region.

“Around November 29 and 30, they resumed their air attacks,” said a source from the resistance forces.

Since late November, the military has been conducting continuous airstrike operations around Bhamaw using jet fighters and Y-12 aircraft, according to reports.

In addition to launching ground offensives aimed at re capturing Bhamaw, the junta’s joint forces have also continued conducting airstrike attacks.

Due to these escalating military operations, clashes between resistance groups may intensify again, and resistance forces have warned civilians to be extra cautious while traveling.
