It has been learned from Tigyaing Revolution (TR) that airstrikes carried out by the military council's aircraft, which were providing security for vessels traveling from Bhamaw Town in Kachin State, resulted in the deaths of 11 civilian residents in the Tigyaing area over two days.
The fatalities occurred due to airstrikes and artillery fire by Y-12 aircraft providing security for the military vessels descending from Bhamaw, which attacked the Tigyaing area on September 6 and 7 .
The military vessels descending from Bhamaw reached the vicinity of Zinchaung Village in the Thabaik Kyin area today, September 8, and are continuing their descent. Along the route of the vessels, Y-12 aircraft are flying to provide security, and bombing attacks are also occurring .
Due to the military council's forces recklessly conducting airstrikes and artillery fire in this manner, revolutionary forces are urging residents living near the river to be cautious and temporarily relocate to safe areas .
Intense clashes have continued since early August when military vessels entered the Bhamaw area, and the conflict remains severe to the present time .
