In Myitkyina, Kachin State, after fuel prices increased, sales of battery-powered motorcycles have become stronger, and the prices of battery motorcycles have also risen compared to before.

Due to conflicts in the Middle East, fuel prices have increased since March 3, and residents in Myitkyina have been purchasing and using battery motorcycles more instead of fuel-powered vehicles.

In Myitkyina, whenever fuel prices fluctuate, sales of battery motorcycles tend to increase, and it is reported that battery motorcycle shops have seen a significant rise in sales during this month.

Currently, in Myitkyina, the price of fuel has risen to 9,500 kyats per liter for 92 octane, and it is said that the fuel prices, which increased since early March 3, have not decreased yet.

Battery motorcycle prices vary depending on the type, starting from at least 2.8 million kyats up to 5 million kyats, and demand remains strong.
