Fighting has intensified again in the Bhamaw area under KIA Brigade (3) starting today, December 25, according to sources.

Beginning on December 25, clashes broke out after joint KIA forces launched offensive operations to retake military junta bases in the Bhamaw area. As the clashes remain intense, the military junta side is reportedly carrying out defensive operations using airstrikes, drones, and heavy weapons, while the KIA continues its attacks.

Fighting in the Bhamaw area has been ongoing for more than a year since December 4, 2024. During this period, the KIA has reportedly attacked and captured most of the military bases in the area.
