In Lamyang village, Waimaw region, military troops have been continuously conducting operations these days, according to local sources.

Since May, military columns have been advancing into Lamyang village, frequently clashing with KIA forces stationed in the area. These confrontations have become a regular occurrence, and tensions remain high.

On June 11, military jets carried out airstrikes over the village twice, once around 9 a.m. and again around 4 p.m.

In addition to air attacks, the military has also been shelling the village with heavy artillery during their operations, causing local residents to flee for safety.

As this period of displacement drags on, food shortages have become more severe, and with the school term starting, parents report that it has become increasingly difficult for students to attend school.

Meanwhile, in Hpakant, joint operations by the military and allied militias have continued, with reports of civilians being shot, homes being set on fire, and arbitrary arrests and abductions. As a result, residents in those areas are also moving about with extreme caution.
