Civilians Killed and Injured in Lang Se Area Due to Airstrike

In Lang Se area, Tsawlaw Township, Chipwe District, Kachin State, it is reported that one civilian was killed and three others were injured as a result of an airstrike by the military council.
At around 3:20 PM on October 10, a Y-12 aircraft flying from Myitkyina dropped four bombs on Lang Se village. As a result, one civilian was killed, three injured, and two houses were also damaged, according to local sources.
The deceased was Mr. Maran Zai La, a 40 year old man from Shan State. The injured included Mr. Maw Maw, 46, from Mansi area; Mr. Htoi Nan Li Aung, 28, from Myitkyina Tatkon Ward; and U La Grawng Dau San, 33, from Thaw Law village.
Currently, there are no reports of clashes near Lang Se village, but the bombing targeted civilians. After the airstrike on Lang Se, the area was also shelled again toward Waimaw-Lamyang area .
Lang Se and surrounding areas experienced a previous bombing by the military council’s aircraft on September 22 as well, which killed three civilians and injured four others.
