In the Hugawng area under KIA Brigade No. (2), the military junta carried out an airstrike, resulting in one civilian sustaining serious injuries, according to reports.

Due to injuries to the head and eyes caused by the air dropped bomb, the victim is currently receiving medical treatment at Tanai Public Hospital.

However, because the injuries are severe, the patient must be transferred to Myitkyina General Hospital for further treatment. It is reported that there are difficulties related to medical expenses and transportation.

In addition, a jet fighter aircraft dropped bombs on a football field in Man Lin village at around 4:00 p.m. on December 22, causing injuries to civilians, according to available information.

The injured civilians have been identified as Daw Waje Bawk (over 70 years old), Daw Sein Htwe (over 40 years old), Daw Mee Mee (26 years old), and Su Lin Latt Htun (13 years old).

These civilians are originally from Ban Maw village and are currently displaced persons taking refuge in Man Lin village.

Although there have been no ground clashes in areas controlled by the KIA, it is reported that the military junta continues to regularly carry out airstrikes and heavy artillery attacks.
