Clashes Ongoing Between KIA joint forces and SAC troops in the Putao Area

It is reported that clashes have occurred between a KIA joint force and military council troops in the Putao area under KIA Brigade (1), Battalion (7).

At around 10:30 AM on April 26, near the Sumpyi Yang area in Putao, KIA joint forces launched a defensive attack against military council troops who were conducting movements in the area, leading to direct clashes between the two sides.

Approximately 70 military council troops were moving near the Sum Pyi Yang area when KIA forces engaged them near Wadat village. As a result, there were significant casualties on the military council side, and they were forced to retreat.

Currently, clashes between both sides are occurring daily across KIA Brigades (1), (2), (3), and (9), and the military situation remains tense.
