Election Commission Announces First Phase of General Election to Be Held in December

The Union Election Commission today announced further details regarding the dates of the phased general elections that will be held for the various legislative bodies under a multi‑party democratic system.

The Election Commission stated that on December 28, the first phase of the multi‑party democratic general election for the respective parliaments will commence.
