The Election Commission has announced that, starting from yesterday, September 30, it has begun releasing the voter lists for the upcoming general elections to be held by the military commission.
The voter lists will be publicly displayed for the first time from September 30 to October 13, a total of 14 days, at the respective ward and village locations. If public display is not possible for various reasons, the lists can be viewed at the township sub-commission offices. If a person’s name is not included in the voter list, they may apply to be added using Form (3). If ineligible persons are included, they may be challenged using Form (4).
In cases of incorrect information in the voter list, corrections can be submitted using another Form. Furthermore, after additions, deletions, and corrections are processed, the final voter lists for the general elections will be released again for public display in November 2025.
The first stage of the election organized by the military council will be held on December 28, and internally displaced persons will also be required to cast advance votes. The overall elections will be conducted in three separate stages.
