Fierce Fighting Intensifies Across Kachin Region

The military council forces are reportedly reinforcing their troops daily across Kachin State, while regularly conducting inspections on cars and motorcycles as well as launching military operations, according to sources.

On the Putao and Hkawnglanghpu frontlines, military supplies are currently being transported by aircraft, and military preparations are underway.

In the Hukaung region and Lawar area, joint military activities are being carried out by the military council and Pyu Saw Htee militia forces. On the Bhamaw frontline, clashes are occurring as Infantry Battalion 933 frequently fires heavy artillery indiscriminately toward positions held by the KIA and allied forces.

In addition, military movements have been reported around the banana plantations in Mungna and Man Pya Taung areas on the Waimaw frontline. The military council forces are continuously conducting offensives toward Brigade 7, Brigade 8, Brigade 9, and Brigade 11 using food supplies and military equipment.

As the military council continues opening multiple fronts across Kachin State, carrying out offensives and indiscriminate heavy artillery attacks, military analysts responsible for security assessments have warned civilians to remain cautious in their daily activities, according to the KIA information department.
