Graduation Ceremony Held at Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education in KIO-Controlled Area

The graduation ceremony and degree conferral event for the 2025–2026 academic year of the Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education (MIED), located in a KIO-controlled area, was held on April 28 at the institute’s campus, according to sources.
This ceremony marked the 11th graduation of the Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education. Graduates for the 2025–2026 academic year completed programs including the Diploma in Education Program, Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and Diploma in Teaching Chinese Language (TCL). A total of 249 students were awarded their diplomas.
The Mai Ja Yang Institute was originally established in 1998 as a Teacher Training School (TTS). It was later upgraded to a Teacher Training College (TTC) during the 2008–2009 academic year. Starting from the 2018–2019 academic year, it was further elevated to the Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education (MIED) level and continues to operate as an educational college.
