In the village of Namma Nyaung Pyin Thar, one man was wounded and one man was killed due to a heavy artillery weapon fired by the military council

It is reported that a man called U Myint Phay was killed and another was wounded due to a heavy artillery weapon which fired openly by the military council in Namma NanSaLaw Hill, Mohnyin Township, Kachin State.

“U Myint Phay went to his farm by motorbike. And the heavy artillery weapons are firing frequently these days, so people are being careful and are keeping on ear every day. Although the locals from Namma Nyaung Pyin Thar village heard that people were killed due to heavy weaponry, they still need to travel for their living. The person who got injured on the leg is currently in Mohnyin Hospital,” said an anonymous person from the Naku Association.

The person who was killed was a 59-year-old man and was a farmer.
