Indaw Town Placed Under Night Curfew Order

It has been reported that the Indaw People’s Defense Force (PDF) has issued a night curfew order for Indaw Town, which lies on the border between Kachin State and Sagaing Region.

The curfew was imposed due to an increase in crimes such as theft, robbery, and drug trafficking and abuse within the township. Residents have been prohibited from moving around the town between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.

According to Indaw Revolution (IR), the curfew order has been in effect since November 1 and will remain in place indefinitely.

However, the order does not restrict movement of PDF troops on official duty or individuals traveling for urgent health-related reasons.

Indaw Town has been under the control of resistance forces for more than six months.
