Joint Forces Capture Two SNA Bases in Mohnyin Township

According to military sources, two Shan Ni Army (SNA) bases stationed in San Sai village, Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, were attacked and captured by a joint force of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the Shan State Independence Army (SSIA).

It is reported that clashes began at around 4:00 PM on April 23 between the KPDF + SSIA joint forces and the SNA troops under the military council in San Sai village.

During the intense fighting between both sides, continuous sounds of heavy weapon explosions were also heard within the village.

In addition, it is reported that KIA joint forces also captured a military camp located at the five-road junction in Shwegu town, Kachin State, on April 23.
