KIA Coalition Forces Capture Indaw Region Amid Intense Aerial Attacks

Amid heavy aerial attacks by the military junta, the KIA coalition forces successfully captured the Indaw region in Sagaing on April 7, 2025. Despite the junta’s announcement of a temporary ceasefire from April 2 to April 22, military aircraft dropped over 40 bombs on Indaw that day. By 8 PM, KIA and allied forces took control of the area.

The operation involved KIA, KPDF, ABSDF, and other allied groups, who seized significant weapons and military supplies. This victory came after nearly eight months of fighting since August 16, 2024.
