KSCU Opens Admissions for the 2026 Academic Year

The Kachin State Comprehensive University (KSCU) has begun accepting applications for the 2026 academic year, with admissions officially starting from November 3, according to sources.

Students eligible to enroll at KSCU include those who have passed the 2020 academic year government matriculation exam (Grade 10), holders of GED or IGCSE certificates, graduates from the Kachin Education Department (KED) upper level, or those who possess a Basic Education Completion Assessment Certificate, as per KSCU’s set standards and requirements.

KSCU, located in Laiza, is a university established under the NUG (National Unity Government) education initiative following the military coup.

The university offers various majors under its academic schools, including the School of Medical Sciences, School of Nursing, School of Technology, School of Economics, School of Agriculture, and School of Arts and Sciences, allowing students to choose their preferred fields of study.
