In Myitkyina, Kachin State, not only are daily flights not operating, but airline ticket prices have also risen sharply, making it difficult for the public to purchase tickets, according to sources.
After the reopening of Myitkyina Airport, airlines are no longer operating daily flights as they did previously, and ticket prices have increased significantly.
In addition, despite the high ticket prices, tickets are still difficult to obtain.
Currently, flights to Myitkyina are operating on a weekly schedule: MAI airline flies on Tuesdays and Fridays, MNA airline on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Air Thanlwin airline on Saturdays.
Ticket prices for Myitkyina-Mandalay flights range between 800,000 and 1,000,000 kyats, while Myitkyina-Yangon flights cost between 1,300,000 and 1,500,000 kyats.
