In recent days, the military council forces have mainly relied on airstrikes, intensifying their bombings from the air. They have also increased aerial bomb attacks on locations where KIA bases are situated.

On September 25, at around 9:50 a.m., in the area of KIA’s Brigade (2), Battalion (45), a Y-12 aircraft coming from the direction of Myitkyina dropped bombs. It is reported that in this Y-12 bombing raid, a total of 26 bombs, believed to be 120 mm heavy weapons were dropped.

During the battles in Kachin State, the military has primarily been using aircraft, drones, and heavy artillery to carry out strikes. Furthermore, even in areas where no clashes are taking place, the military has conducted targeted aerial attacks, forcing civilians to live in constant fear of airstrikes.

Currently, in the Hpakant area of Kachin State, the military continues to bombard almost daily with heavy artillery and drone strikes, causing numerous civilian casualties. In addition, ground offensives are being carried out toward the Waimaw–Lamyang area, while artillery fire is also launched from the Myitkyina side in support.
