Military Forces Advancing Toward Hkawnglanghpu Area

It has been reported from local sources that junta troops under the KIA’s Brigade 7 operational area are reinforcing their forces and advancing toward the Hkawnglanghpu region.

After the KIA joint forces captured two local Militia camps in the Hkawnglanghpu area on October 28, junta troops have been increasing their military presence and conducting daily offensives in recent days, according to reports.

The junta forces are said to be transporting reinforcements, weapons, and food supplies to Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 46 based in Putao, while also engaging in ongoing military movements.

Throughout October, KIA joint forces reportedly seized four junta camps in the Hkawnglanghpu area. In response, the junta has been reinforcing its troops and continuing military advances toward the Putao region.
