Military vessels belonging to the Military Council, which had arrived in Bhamaw Town, Kachin State, withdrew and sailed downstream along the Ayeyarwady River this morning, according to military sources.

It is known that a total of 6 military vessels, which sailed down, are the same ones that had transported food supplies, military weapons, ammunition, and troop reinforcements to Bhamaw Town on August 1st.

As the military often conducts airstrikes and artillery fire on riverside villages to clear the route for these vessels' travel, revolutionary forces have warned riverside residents to be especially cautious.

Since these military vessels arrived in Bhamaw Town, where urban combat is ongoing, fierce two sided clashes between the KIA joint forces and Military Council troops have significantly intensified in the town.

The Military Council's vessels had been sailing up from the Gaw Wun port in Mandalay to Bhamaw Town in Kachin State via the Ayeyarwady River with military weapons, supplies, and reinforcements since July 17th and 22nd.
