In the domestic gold market of Myanmar, the price of one tical of gold has risen to over 110 lakh kyat, continuing to set new record highs. Currently, although the U.S. dollar and economic policies are declining, in the gold market, the price of one ounce of gold has reached USD 5,292.60, pushing the record high. This indicates that gold prices are rising both in Myanmar’s market and internationally.
At present, gold prices in Myanmar are steadily increasing, and ordinary citizens are concerned that alongside gold, prices of petrol and other commodities may also rise.
After June 2025, the domestic gold market in Myanmar had previously set a record high of 82 lakh kyat per tical. Now, the price has once again surged to over 110 lakh kyat, marking a new record high.
