In Bhamo town, Kachin State, fighting between the military and the KIA continues, and it has been learned that this morning alone, the military carried out two airstrikes.

“Around 6 a.m. early this morning, there was one strike, and around 7 a.m., there was another strike with aircraft dropping bombs. Right after that, they kept firing with grenades and drones,” a military news source reported.

Yesterday, August 13, at around 6:30 a.m., the military council also conducted three jet aircraft bombing and carried out drone bombings as well.

It is known that since early August, the military council forces have been conducting continuous aerial and drone attacks, along with ground assaults, in an attempt to regain the bases they had lost in Bhamo.

It is also learned that the military council troops have transported weapons and ammunition by waterway, and have been conducting continuous airstrikes in parallel with ground offensives.
