Myanmar Military Transports Weapons and Food Supplies Daily in Bhamaw Area

In the Bhamaw area under the KIA Brigade No. (3) territory, clashes between KIA joint forces and Myanmar military junta forces are continuing, and the transportation of weapons, military supplies, and food is reportedly being carried out on a regular basis.

According to available information, in recent days the junta forces have been routinely delivering food supplies and military reinforcements by aircraft to the No. 21 base.

Due to the reinforcement of military strength and the shelling with heavy weapons, as well as aerial attacks on locations believed to be inhabited by KIA joint forces, daily clashes between the military and KIA joint forces are reportedly occurring regularly in the Bhamaw area.

In addition, in the KIA Brigade No. (1) area of Putao region, the junta forces are also conducting military movements and routinely reinforcing their troops, according to local residents. It is reported that the military is attempting to hold elections in the Putao area, and as the election date approaches, troop deployments within the town have been further increased.

Along with troop reinforcements, ongoing military patrols and indiscriminate shelling with heavy weapons have led to frequent clashes with KIA forces. Military activities are also reported to be intensifying in Machangbaw Township and Hkawnglanghpu Township in the Putao District.
