It has been learned that the State Administration Council (SAC) forces and the Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA) joint troops are continuing their offensive operations and attacks near Bhamauk town, leading to ongoing clashes with the resistance forces.
Reports indicate that the SAC and its allied forces began their offensive attacks toward Bhamauk town on October 14. The resistance forces have been responding with counterattacks, resulting in continuous clashes between the two sides.
Additionally, the military has carried out aerial and heavy artillery attacks, which caused damage to several civilian houses. Drones are also reportedly flying daily for surveillance missions.
Bhamauk town was seized by joint resistance forces on September 20. The current offensive from the SAC and SNA forces is a counteroffensive operation advancing from the Homalin side toward Bhamauk.
On October 15, the military also dropped two bombs into Bhamauk town using a jet fighter.
