Along the upper section of the Myitkyina-Myitsone road, soldiers and police jointly conduct random inspections on cars and motorcyclists, causing anxiety among the public.

Locals reported that the joint forces do not conduct inspections daily but suddenly check vehicles, mainly focusing on those heading north from Myitkyina. On September 10, about 10 soldiers and police personnels jointly stopped and inspected vehicles and motorbikes near the high school in Pa La Na village from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Additionally, at the Lamung Zup gate on the Myitsone route, vehicles going in and out are regularly stopped for inspection and gate fees are collected. A passenger reported that luggage was also carried off from the vehicles. The passenger said, "When we got down at the gate, all passengers were asked to disembark, including the drivers. Then they carried away their luggage bags and left for a long time. We returned in the afternoon and had to wait around for a long time."

The military council has stationed forces since mid January at various locations including the Shwe Zet Road intersection, Pa La Na Road, in front of the Pa La Na police station, near the high school, and near the Yinghkaw road intersection, conducting intermittent inspections and monitoring.
