Intense daily clashes continue across the Lamyang–Waimaw area, and the military council has been carrying out repeated airstrikes. On November 25, two military aircraft launched another round of air attacks on Shwe Nyaung Pin-Jar Lagat Yang Village, according to local sources.
“Around 8 PM last night, they came and bombed once. And then, just before 9 PM, they came again. I heard that some houses were damaged. It’s hard to get in touch, so we still can’t confirm the full situation. There were no human casualties, though. Yes, it happened in Shwe Nyaung Pin-Jar Lagat Yan Village,” a local resident said.
Along the Waimaw-Lamyang frontline, the military council troops and the KIA joint forces are positioned close to each other. With ongoing military operations and continued offensives by junta troops, frequent clashes are still occurring. Both sides have also been engaging in mutual attacks using heavy weaponry.
On November 21 around 11 PM, the military also dropped a drone bomb on Waimaw-Shwe Nyaung Pin Village, which exploded inside a house. A 34 year old man was killed, while a 35 year old woman and an 11 year old child were injured. They are currently receiving treatment at Laiza General Hospital.
