Siblings' Argument Turns Deadly, Sister Stabbed to Death

In Rampu Quarter, Myitkyina, Kachin State, an argument between a brother and sister yesterday evening around 10:00 PM escalated into a stabbing, resulting in the death of the sister, according to local residents.

Local sources report that the incident occurred in Rampu Quarter, Block 13, when the two siblings got into a verbal argument that turned violent. The brother stabbed his sister multiple times with a knife. The sister died instantly at the scene.

The deceased woman was around 40 years old. She succumbed to stab wounds to her abdomen, arm, and neck. Her body has been transported to the Myitkyina Public Hospital.

Regarding the incident, the brother has been handed over to the local police station by ward officials. The relevant authorities are investigating and questioning those involved.
