SAC troops have carried out 60 bombing sorties using Y-12 aircraft in Kachin State over the past week, according to reports.
In Kachin State, clashes remain intense in the Bhamo region and along the Myitkyina-Hpakant road. Over the past week, the SAC has conducted 60 airstrikes with Y-12 planes, 10 jet fighter attacks, 78 drone bombings, and 107 heavy artillery strikes, as reported by the KIA News Agency.
Currently, while reconstruction efforts are underway in areas damaged by the strong earthquake in Sagaing Region, the SAC has continued aerial assaults across various regions—excluding Yangon and Naypyidaw—from March 28 to May 16. The National Unity Government (NUG) has stated that these attacks have resulted in the deaths of 416 civilians.
Nationwide, the SAC has conducted a total of 445 airstrikes, alongside ongoing ground offensives, with aerial bombardments continuing without pause.
