Sudden Bomb Explosion in Myitkyina, No Casualties Reported

A bomb explosion occurred this morning at around 10:00 AM in Myitkyina, in front of the All Star Boarding House, located near Basic Education High School No. 3.

“I don’t know who did it or why. But because of the explosion, three nearby cars were damaged. It happened around 10 o’clock this morning,” an eyewitness said.

According to eyewitness accounts, there were no injuries or fatalities. However, three vehicles- a Land Cruiser, a Honda Fit, and an Airwave sustained damage from bomb shrapnel.

Local residents said they did not know the cause of the blast or how it happened; they only heard the sound of the explosion.

Since the site is close to dormitories for students, the incident has left many in shock and fear.
