The Anti-coup Armed Forces Attacked Interception To SAC Which Was Marching In Columns With A Full Force

An interception attack on the SAC which was being reinforced and marched from Indaw Region by the revolutionary forces took place near the intersection of Nabar road, in Indaw region, Sagaing on February 20th, at around 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

“We travelled with three cars, the first car’s driver called us and told us that they heard gunshots continuously, so we warned each other not to go ahead. After an hour, the gunshots stopped,” said the Mandalay-Myitkyina highway drivers.

After an hour of clashes, a soldier got injured and the driver said that, “I heard the siren of the ambulance and saw the injured soldier being put in that ambulance.”

The clash lasted for about an hour, and the road from Indaw to Mawlu and Myitkyina-Mandalay PyiDaungSu Road was temporarily blocked for about two hours.

In addition, the buses and cars coming from Myitkyina were also forced to stop temporarily at Pinwai Village, and after the next 2 hours and 40 minutes, all the vehicles were allowed to travel again.

More than 200 SAC forces settled in Nabar village and they marched in columns to Nabar, Tharbaw, Natmahote, MoeYu, NarNaung and Kyaw Ywar very often. And the news is also spreading that they will launch an offensive to recapture the Mawlu, which is under controlled by the joint forces of the Revolutionary and People’s Defense Forces.
