Thirteen Clashes Reported in One Week in Bhamo, Waingmaw, and Hpakant Regions

As intense daily fighting continues between the military council and joint KIA forces in Kachin State, at least 13 clashes were reported within a week in the regions of Bhamo, Waingmaw-Lamyang, and Hpakant, according to KIA sources.

Although there were no ground clashes in Bhamo, there were six airstrikes, 76 drone bombings, and 178 instances of artillery shelling reported in the area.

In Waingmaw-Lamyang, three ground clashes occurred as the military council launched ground offensives, and drone attacks from the Myitkyina Military Command supported these operations daily.

According to political analysts in Kachin State, the military council is currently reinforcing its troops in preparation for simultaneous ground offensives in both Waingmaw and Bhamo regions.
