Villages in Indawgyi Area Facing Looting of Belongings by Armed Groups

It has been reported by locals that people fleeing from fighting in Haepar Village, Indawgyi area, have had their valuable belongings looted and used by Shan Nationalities Army (SNA) forces.
Residents of the village, who were fleeing due to the conflict, said that SNA forces were taking their belongings at will, looting and using them for their own purposes.
Similarly, in Hugawng area, including Welao, Lapu Hka, and Pya Soi villages, joint forces of Shan Nationalities Army and Min Zay Thant led militia have also been taking local residents’ belongings for their own use.
The joint forces of SNA and Min Zay Thant's Militia have reportedly been looting valuable items from villages where military operations have occurred, while also setting fire to and destroying residents’ homes.
