According to local sources, at around 8 a.m. this morning, the Military Commission forces attacked Malang Village in Hpakant area with bombs dropped from a Y-12 aircraft.

Malan Village lies between Lone Khin and Hpakant, where clashes between resistance forces and joint military council columns have been ongoing for nearly a week. “Yes, they came and dropped bombs this morning. It wasn’t a jet fighter, but it made a very loud noise and circled for a long time over Lone Khin. We don’t know if there were any casualties, as no one dares to go in that direction,” said a local resident from Hpakant.

It was reported that the bombs were dropped by a Y-12 aircraft, but due to travel difficulties, it is unknown whether there were any casualties. The Military Commission also bombed Malang Village yesterday around noon using an aircraft.

In recent days, military activity has intensified in the Hpakant area, with widespread recruitment efforts. Locals have been facing travel difficulties, and it was further learned that both men and women are being taken from inside shops, prompting some shops to shut down.
